An error may occur when reading data from an Excel file. There are two situations that can cause errors:
# The Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 is not installed on your computer. # The installed version of Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 does not match the installed version of Octofy.
:: The Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 has a 32-bit version and a 64-bit version. It must be consistent with the version of the Microsoft Office installed. In other words, if the Microsoft Office installed on your computer is a 32-bit version, you should use the 32-bit version of Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010. Then, to use the Octofy to analyze an Excel file, you should also install and using a 32-bit version of the Octofy. Conversely, if the installed Microsoft Office is a 64-bit version, the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 and Octofy must also be 64-bit.

Octofy Professional Edition provides the feature of analyzing data in an Excel file sheet. After selecting an Excel file from the Open file dialog, Excel Analysis will display and list all available worksheets in the file. You can select a worksheet and click the Analysis button to start the data analysis.

An error may occur when reading data from an Excel file. There are two situations that can cause errors:

  1. The Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 is not installed on your computer. You can download and install the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 from the following website: downloading Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010
  2. The installed version of Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 does not match the installed version of Octofy.
The Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 has a 32-bit version and a 64-bit version. It must be consistent with the version of the Microsoft Office installed. In other words, if the Microsoft Office installed on your computer is a 32-bit version, you should use the 32-bit version of Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010. Then, to use the Octofy to analyze an Excel file, you should also install and using a 32-bit version of the Octofy.
